Emergency Hospital Visits

Today we took Pastor Odmy’s father-in-law to the hospital to have tests run. He was already diagnosed with TB and they want to run some further tests. He was just one of many that we have been taking to the hospital. Two days ago, we had a 13 year old boy that we took to the hospital who needed an immediate operation for appendicitis. Last night we had a woman who also had appendicitis. Our housekeeper, Madam Louman, was also rushed to the hospital with chest and back pain. Tonight, even though it’s pouring rain and storming, we had another emergency crisis. A woman who is eight months pregnant was hemorrhaging and needed to be rushed to the hospital. As she was being taken to St. Marc, the rain flooded the roads to the point of not being able to make it to the hospital so we had to turn around and take her to the hospital in Port-au-Prince. We’ve had many emergency situations recently and we praise God for the donations that were given for this cause. Please pray for discernment for us to know how God wants us to handle each individual case!
