Another orphanage helped

This morning Lifeline was blessed to be able to take on another orphanage to help feed their children! Love Action for Kids’ orphanage collapsed in Port-au-Prince during the earthquake leaving their kids homeless. They were then moved to a school in Croix-des-Bouquets for temporary living. Eventually they will build the new orphanage on top of the school. The pastor Henri Mercidieu said he went out looking every day for food for the children so he was beyond elated to receive this blessing of food from Lifeline. Today we gave them rice, beans, and Kids Against Hunger food (rice and beans fortified with vitamins, minerals, and other vegetables) and will continue to feed them every month. For us at Lifeline it is very rewarding to be able to help those that we see are in desperate help. You can help too! Now that we’re feeding their orphanage, that means we have more kids that will be added to our sponsorship program. For $20 a month you can help continue to feed them, educate them, and provide them with medical attention. If you’d like to help bless these deserving children please email missionlifeline@bellsouth.net.
